I have all of these! I live in South Louisiana. Mine are all outdoors at the moment. I’m watching the weather and will bring them in if the temperature drops. Mine are all quite large and beautiful! Don’t want my babies damaged. Pray I have the strength to pick them up. They are heavy!
I’ve worked in the floral industry for over 25 years and I must agree that these are the easiest plants to grow. I now live in northern Manitoba, and with very low-light winters and hot, high-light summers, all of these plants thrive up here, as does needlepoint ivy and burro’s tail succulent. Besides being easy to grow, these plants are showy and make even the extreme novice look like a pro. Most people kill their plants with kindness by overwatering and over- fertilizing. A little HEALTHY neglect never hurts!
Hi Janet, Thank you for the comment.
Thanks for the advice!
Hello All, Where would you recommend to go for these types of plants? Could I walk into a Home Depot or a Lowes?
Yes as well as Walmart lol! These plants are everywhere and easy to find!
I order them on Amazon, they have great plants. Home depot does not have these kind of plants! But they have a lot of succulents! And Lowe’s have a few but they are over priced. Hope I could help! Janet
Many of these plants are considered weeds in Australia. Whatever you do, don’t plant them out in the garden. Wandering Jew makes a nice cool spot for a dog or cat to lie on,but it causes terrible skin rashes. Failing that it will take over your garden and you can’t get rid of it. Some of the others can also be considered as plant thugs; they have very invasive root systems and just take over

I’ve never ever had luck with the peace plant. Either I under water it or over water it.
They actually will show you when they water by leaving drooping. Mine light low light since bright light will burn the leaves. I water throughly and leave them alone until I see the signs.. they do not like to stand in water..
Same here in fact I have one that is almost ten years old but barely 8 inches high. It wouldn’t bloom. Reporting and fertilizers no help but I now live in SW Florida and it sits on my lanai and is now in bloom! But it still is a small plant…..
