Here’s a living memory capsule. This Christmas Cactus has been in the family for three generations. It is with Patsy Meserow in Apple Valley, and she got it from her great-grandma.

Here’s another one that’s 117 years old. Freckled friend got it from her grandmother, who got it from a friend in 1993. The friend was 89 at the time and inherited it from her mother – who got it as a baby shower present in 1904. What a story!

This Geranium is more than just a plant. It’s a piece of family history, grown since 1908 and passed down from a grandma to her niece. What you’re seeing is a cutting from the original. Talk about a family treasure!
