This plant will burgeon best when kept in a slightly root-bound state. Following this trick will encourage it to grow fast and form more pups. Re-pot the plant only when you see a lot of offsets in the planter but no space to grow or the roots popping out from the topsoil.

Snake plants are not heavy feeders, but nourishing them with an all-purpose liquid fertilizer like 10-10-10 in 1/4 to 1/2 of the recommended strength once every 4-6 weeks is required for optimum growth.

Note: Avoid fertilization in winters in a cold climate.

4. Place in a Warm & Well-Lit Area

While mother-in-law’s tongue is one of the best low-light houseplants in the world, you can make the plant grow faster by keeping it in a bright spot that remains warm. A location with bright indirect sunlight is an ideal spot. Also, a couple of hours with a direct morning sun will boost its growth.
