Leopard Lily flowers the best when it gets a minimum of 4-6 hours of direct sunlight daily. It won’t mind dwelling in a bit of shade but the blooms will not be as much.

Pick a spot that gets good morning sun and is safe from the long exposure to harsh afternoon light.

Soil

The plant is not at all fussy when it comes to the growing medium and would do just fine in regular garden soil. To boost the growth and drainage, add a handful of sand and organic matter to the soil at the time of planting.

Watering

The plant is pretty much drought tolerant when mature so ensure you are never overwatering it. Moisten up the growing medium when the topsoil feels a little dry to the touch. Do not water it on daily basis, especially while growing it in a pot.

Temperature

Leopard Lily plant needs warm and humid conditions to thrive best. The ideal temperature for this plant is 85-75°F or 18-23°C. If the temperature falls below 50°F or 10°C, the plant may be at serious risk.

Feed the plant using a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half of its concentration once every 6-8 weeks to boost growth. Do this especially when you are growing it in pots. However, it would do just fine without any fertilizer if you are growing it in the garden.

It is quite a hardy plant and generally never gets affected by pests or diseases. The only thing that you need to take care of is overwatering and sunlight.
