- Use Natural Citrus Spray: Peel the outer layer of orange, lemon, grapes, mint, or lime and boil until the extract of the crust dissolves in water. Fill this citrus extract solution in a spray bottle and spray the carpenter bee’s tunnel with it. Carpenter bees just like other pests and insects are allergic to a citrus smell and oil.
- Use Nail Paint or White Vinegar: Apply nail paint or white vinegar over the tiny holes of the carpenter bees as it will close their entry point.
