Required Materials

  • Half Round Bamboo
  • Small Pots
  • Self Drilling Screw
  • Screwdriver
  • Wood Polish
  • Paint Brush

1. Paint the Bamboo

Begin by painting the bamboo with a wood polish using the paint brush.

2. Let it Dry

After polishing it, leave for some time until it becomes dry to touch.

3. Drill Holes in Bamboo

Drill holes in your bamboo pole. The number of holes depends on how many pots you would like to attach to it.

4. Fix the Planters

Fix the small pots on bamboo by means of screws.

5. Select Plants

Select plants you would like to plant in your vertical bamboo planter. Succulents are best for this purpose as they grow slowly and tolerate dry conditions.

6. Plant them

Fill the mini pots with light succulent potting mix and plant the plants.

7. Nail the Bamboo Planter Holder

Secure the bamboo planter to a wall using nails and rope. The use of rope will also make it more interesting and natural.
