Make this easy DIY Hand Planter out of white cement to grow succulents. It’s spectacular and can become a charming tabletop centerpiece!
Required Materials
- Succulents
- Hand Glove
- Trowel
- Bowl
- Cling Film
- White Cement
1. Wrap the Bowl
Cover the inside of the bowl with cling film.
2. Mix White Cement
Pour some water and white cement in the bowl and mix it with your masonry trowel (or you can use garden trowel). Keep mixing until you make a thick fine paste.
3. Fill Cement in Glove
The hand glove will work as a mold. Fill it with white cement.
4. Put the Stone
After filling the glove with cement, place it on the bowl as shown in the image. After that, put a stone in the middle until it dries out well and become hard. The step of putting a stone will create a depression in your DIY hand planter, which is necessary if you want to add soil in it.
5. Cut the Glove
It’ll take at least one day to dry out and lose moisture. When it’s dry, submerge in water for a day or two to make it strong. Once these steps are done, cut the glove to take out the planter.
6. Time to Plant
Your hand planter is ready. Before planting any succulent, you can color it as well. White spray paint will give it a more polished look or go with blue color.

Ready to Display
