Required Materials

  • Chicken Wire
  • Pliers
  • Screwdriver
  • Bulb
  • Flat Stone
  • Plant & Soil

1. Remove Bulb Connector

Remove bulb connector as shown using the pliers.

2. Use the Screwdriver

Use a screwdriver to hollow out the light bulb.

3. Remove Glass Mount

Remove the glass mount and support wires out of the light bulb.

4. Tie Chicken Wire

Tie the chicken wire to the stone as shown in the picture.

5. Put Soil in Bulb

Once the inside is removed, add soil to your DIY bulb planter.

6. Planting

You can also use this planter to propagate cuttings or grow the small succulent or air plant.
